What to do with old stock certificates

Don’t throw away those old stock certificates. They could be worth some money either if the company is still alive under another name or merged with another company. Also, if the certificate has some type of celebrity status, such as it’s signed by a celebrity, or printed on unique paper, then it can be sold to collectors.

How do I know what to get a couple for their anniversary?

Weddings and anniversaries are popular topics at the library. We constantly buying items wedding related and this section of the collection can be really sparse when wedding season rolls around. That being said, what to get a couple or spouse for an anniversary is a questioned often asked here at the library.

Since the list can go up to 100, I’m not going to list them here, but I will give you sources you can find on the web and in your local library.
