Classics!

What books are considered “Classic” and where can I find a list?

The Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary defines classic as "serving as a standard of excellence; of recognized value." So, classic is book is one that has achieved the above status in literary history through common consent.

There are numerous lists on the internet, not all of them comprehensive, but I don't believe any of them could be. People's opinions differ some times on what is classic and what is not. Some lists may have certain book and others may not have them. However, when you peruse the following lists you'll notice some recurrences.

Recycling

It’s Leap Into Green month at the library. Yay! Inspired by this, I decided to do an information post on recycling. Everyone remember the three R’s…Reduce, Reuse, Recycle…but not much else! It’s been a while since I’ve seen the propaganda on TV, and I don’t know about you, but I’ve forgotten the finer points of recycling: what can I recycle besides cans and newspapers? Where are my local recycling centers? Why do I even need to recycle?
